Westward Expansion: Two Months!

Libby turned 2 months old at the end of February. Here are her updates for the month!

Weight: She started the month at 7lbs, 12oz (8th percentile) -- ended the month at 9lbs, 6 oz (9th percentile). We find more and more rolls everyday -- our little rolly polly!

Height: She grew from 21 inches to 22.5 inches, though she looks much longer.

Clothes: She split the month between newborn and 0-3 clothes. I boxed up her newborn clothes today. Same for diapers, half newborns, half size 1.

Nicknames: Peanut, Pumpkin, Little Bird, Bug, Sweat Pea, Poopsy, Stinker

Likes: still fascinated by bright lights, listening to music with her dad, her changing table, getting her hand in her mouth, her books, the mirror, baths, being in a moving car, mom and dad's pillows and bed.

Dislikes: getting her face washed or her nose wiped, tummy time, when her pacifier falls out, falling to sleep in her own bed, her gassy tummy (it's getting better), her arms being swaddled.

Highlights: SO many this month! Her first social smile, first book read to her (Peek-a-Who: Thanks, Mindy!), her first dinner out (actually had a few dinners out: italian, sushi, and mexican), she saw all her cousins at one time, we started a Mommy & Me group, she survived her first blizzard (second big snowstorm of her life), she found her hand and treats it like an ice cream cone, she helped cheer her friend Megan into the world (Laura had her little girl on Feb. 21), Auntie Lindsay and Adi visited, Lauren Beyer O'Connell & family visited, she (and mommy) bravely survived Daddy's first trip away from home.
